The answers below are about Dominologist Dollars ($), the game's play money. They have no cash value.

How much can I bet?

Your balance has to cover a bet at its worst: a skunk costs 2× and a Skunk Domination 4×. So you can bet up to a quarter of your Dollars, and the smallest bet ($100) needs $400. To bet bigger, put a piece of jewelry on the line (it counts at full value) or pawn one.

I'm busted. Can I still play?

Yes. Dominologist Dollars bets are off until the timer runs out (under $400 counts as busted), but every other game is free, and jewelry can still go on the line. Win back to $1,000 or pawn a piece of jewelry and you're back in sooner. When the timer runs out you're topped back up to $10,000, less the store value of the jewelry you own or have in pawn (prizes don't count), worked out when the timer starts: jewelry lost on a bet while you wait isn't paid back. If your jewelry covers the $10,000, there's no top-up: pawn a piece or win back to $1,000. The timer runs on the app's own clock, so changing the phone's date or time doesn't shorten it, and time the phone is switched off doesn't count.

I owe a workout. Can I still play?

Yes. Citizen Gym and Inmate Gym are locked until you pay up (on video, by GPS, on your word, with a Plea Bargain, Dr.'s excuses in the city, or Lay-in Slips or a Commissary buyout inside). Every other table still plays, and a new loss adds to what you owe.

I closed the app in the middle of a game.

Open it again: the game picks back up where it was. On a Gym clock, the clock keeps running while the app is closed, so if it was your turn, every clock that ran out while you were away is a dumbbell (five in a turn forfeits). Quitting, or starting another game, counts as a loss.

I need a refund for a purchase.

Purchases in the app are made through Apple. For refunds, use reportaproblem.apple.com.

Are Dominologist Dollars real money?

No. They're play money and can't be cashed out or sent to anyone.

Does deleting the app reset my Dollars or a debt?

No. Your profile, Dollars, jewelry, debts, Dr.'s excuses, waits and any game in progress are kept in your device's Keychain, so a reinstall picks up where you left off.

How do I add a friend?

Share your friend code (DOM-XXXXX) from your profile, or enter theirs under Play Friends → Call out a friend. Codes link to real profiles once online play launches; until then, call friends out by text or email.

Can I play people online?

Not yet. The Looking for Smoke lobby and tournaments are played against computer players on your device.
